I'm Dani, a passionate and trusted professional dog walker in Dartmouth, NS. I turned my love for dogs into a fulfilling career, leaving the corporate world in 2017 to start Paws and Biscuits Canine Services in Ottawa, Ontario. Since then, I've had the joy of caring for over 160 dogs, from energetic puppies to cherished seniors, each receiving personalized attention and affection.
As I gained experience, I pursued science-based, positive reinforcement dog training at the Ottawa Canine School. Although I learned a lot, I realized dog training wasn’t my true calling. My journey took a new turn when my husband, our dog Wheezie Elizabeth, and I moved back to Nova Scotia in May 2021, bringing Paws and Biscuits Canine Services to the residents of Dartmouth and Cole Harbour, NS.
However, it wasn't until April 2023, when we adopted Ivy Ginger, that I found my niche with reactive dogs and their need for enrichment. Ivy, with her complex history, is highly sensitive and reactive. Unable to walk Ivy in our neighborhood or visit off-leash parks, I explored canine enrichment to meet her high-energy needs. This experience sparked my passion for sensory gardens and canine enrichment, which I now share with other dog guardians facing similar challenges.
Today, Paws and Biscuits Canine Services offers professional dog walking, wedding day dog care, and specialized canine enrichment, ensuring every dog gets the love and attention they deserve.
